Braking the old Paradine
"Since the beginning of mans evolution from the beginning of time till now. we have been coming to a particular turning point. all through the history of man kind the context for our living was very simple there was not engulf to go around. Only one of us was going to get this food and it was either you or me, and if only one of us was going to survive it was not going to be you. In a world of you or me we knew that the way to deal with the enemy was to get rid of them. The way to deal with the enemy is to simply kill them off ,because then we would get rid of them. only then what happens is there kids grow up and then they kill us off, and our kids grow up and kill them off, and so the story goes. the whole history of mankind is an endless tail of not might for right, but might is right. the big fish eat the little fish. and some time around now and the last fifty years something has occurred which now has opened a space witch has never here to for been available. a space has been opened to human being's today that has never before been possible in the history of evolution, it has not been possible. for the first time there is enough to go around. it no longer has to be you or me. The new context is you and me. for the first time the Nobel prize people proved scientifically with out a shadow of a doubt that there is enough to go around. Bucky Fuller proved with mathematics that if we where to divide up the recourses and spread it to every one of the planet , we would all be billionaires. for the first time in humane history the context which is now available, the space that is now available, that we can live our lives out of is you and me! you see up in till this point in a world of you or me people don't count. You don't count, the people in Asia don't count. We count. we do foreign relations like, we are going to take out of our surplus, and give to these people who are to puny and week to help them selves, because they don't count, we count! and that's the way weave done it. Don't believe me, ask them. don't ask us, ask them. why is it that fifty two hostages in Iran "Americans" pushes of the pages of the news papers , pushes off the front page, pushes out of our attention, the fact that fifteen million people, the rill elimination of a whole culture of people is about to happen through starvation. the fact that fifteen children die of starvation for every second that you and I talk! That is not news! if it where news it would be in the news. It would be in our attention, but its not. And its not the news papers because the news papers print what sells. its not worthy of our attention. you see if we lived in a world where people counted, where you and I counted that would be news. we would know what it costs us to turn our back on the child next to us who is starving. that is my brother and my sister, we would know, it would be worthy of our attention. and for the first time in our history a context is opened up that is bigger then any other context in the history of mankind. Bigger then the end of slavery, bigger then freedom in government, bigger then education as an Idea who's time had come. Victor Hugo said non of the forces of the world is as big as an Idea who's time Has come. nothing will stop it. We have sitting in front of us on a silver platter an opportunity which is grander then the declaration of independence, grander then any thing from the past. the opportunity to create a context of a world that works for every one. if you and I would put it out there that the world can work for every one. and create a dream through communication of a world that works for every one its time would come and in that moment a context would start and a process would start and it would manifest. The world can work for every one. its time has come and its time is now!!!!!" © (Gary Acevido 1990) from the "Awakening" a wonderful work shop
